These stories have been compiled under the auspices of Association of Writers and Illustrators for Children (AWIC) by Mrs. Manorama Jafa and other reputed authors of children literature. Care has been taken to reflect values such as honesty, dignity, truth, compassion, non-violence, and self-reliance, to which Gandhiji devoted his entire life. These stories about this great apostle of peace are as much or even more relevant today than ever before. We hope these stories will inspire and help in spreading out these time-tested values in the coming generations.
